IO Browne
A graduate from Morgan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts is a gifted singer, poet, and theatrical performer. Browne, a former Theatre Arts educator at ConneXions School for the Arts, has performed in several stage productions including Ragtime, The Color Purple, Charlotte’s Web, The Wiz, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hoodoo Love, For Colored Girls who Have Considered Suicide/ wen the Rainbow is Enuf, Dreamgirls and many more.
Alongside theatre, her experience in commercial and film includes work with DC Lottery, AARP, Toyota, Kaiser Permanente, and HBO’s We Own The City. Browne is a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association.
