Apple Brown Betty hails from Richmond, VA, and engages the audience with the familiarity of your favorite aunt. Selected as one of Bob Sumner’s Rising Stars of Comedy, she has performed up and down the East Coast, including The Richmond Funnybone, The DC Improv, Hollywood Laugh Factory, and the legendary Apollo Theater.

Betty was all but born onstage. Her entertainment journey has secured her success across various media landscapes. A veteran of Public Access television, Betty cut her TV teeth at 12 years old. She has since been celebrated as a poet, lyricist, producer, and comedian.
